Whole-House Surface Guide: Kitchen, Bathroom & Living Spaces

A simple, practical guide for homeowners, contractors, and interior designers. See how custom solid surface and quartz stone solve daily stains, dirty mildew joints, and mismatched colors throughout your home.

The Everyday Problems with Home Surfaces

Most homeowners run into the same headaches after living in a new house for a few months: natural marble looks great at first, but spilled red wine, cooking oil, or coffee soaks right in and leaves dark stains you can never scrub out. Bathroom sink edges get ugly black mold around the silicone glue line. Wood window sills swell up and peel after rain or sun exposure. Even worse, buying stone from different stores often leaves you with clashing colors in every room.

How We Fix It: We use solid surface and engineered quartz made to fit your specific cabinet layout. We join pieces with invisible seams, mold sinks right into the bathroom countertop, and supply matching materials across your whole house so everything looks clean, fits together, and wipes down in seconds.

Part 01

Kitchen Solutions: Islands & Cooking Counters

The kitchen island is where family life happens—cooking breakfast, helping kids with homework, and chatting with friends over drinks. It needs to look sharp, but it also has to handle hot pots, sharp knives, and messy cooking spills every single day.

1. Waterfall Sides That Flow to the Floor

Instead of plain cabinet sides, the stone countertop turns a clean 45-degree angle and drops all the way down to the floor. If you pick a marble pattern, the veins flow down the side naturally, looking like one solid block of stone.

2. Built-in Stove & Burner Cutouts

We cut out exact openings at our factory for flat induction cooktops or separate gas burner knobs. The corners are rounded and lined with heat-shield tape, so high cooking heat won't crack the stone over time.

3. No-Lip Undermount Sinks

The sink sits smooth under the countertop without a raised metal rim or silicone glue joint. You can sweep bread crumbs, vegetable peelings, and water straight into the sink bowl with a single wipe.

Everyday Life Benefit: Non-porous surface. Spilled soy sauce, red wine, curry, and coffee wipe off completely with a damp cloth. Safe to knead bread and prep food right on top.

Bathroom Solutions: Sinks & Vanity Tops

Bathrooms are constantly wet. Between splashing water, soapy foam, and makeup bottles, traditional drop-in sinks quickly develop dark mold around the silicone glue that is impossible to clean.

1. One-Piece Top with Molded Sink

The countertop and sink bowl are molded together as one single piece. There is zero glue line and no gap between the sink and top, so black mold and soap scum have nowhere to hide.

2. Freestanding Pedestal Basins for Powder Rooms

If you don't want a bulky cabinet in your guest bathroom or master suite, our standalone pillar basins stand directly on the floor. An open space in the back hides all drain pipes and water valves completely out of view.

3. Fix Scratches Yourself at Home

Ceramic sinks have a thin glaze that chips if dropped with a perfume bottle. Solid surface is the same material all the way through. If you get a light scratch or hair dye stain, gently rub it with a green kitchen scouring pad, and it looks new again.

Everyday Life Benefit: Feels smooth and warm to the touch—never icy cold like traditional ceramic basins on winter mornings.

Part 03

Living Room Solutions: Tables & Window Sills

A home looks much more put-together when your furniture and living surfaces match the style of your kitchen. Solid surface lets us carry that clean stone look into dining rooms, hallways, and living spaces.

1. Safe Rounded Corners for Kids

Natural stone is hard to bend and leaves sharp 90-degree corners that can hurt running toddlers. Solid surface bends smoothly when heated, allowing us to make soft-curved dining tables and rounded coffee tables that protect your family.

2. Sun-Proof & Waterproof Window Sills

Wooden window sills easily peel and turn dark from wet rain condensation or hot afternoon sun. Solid surface doesn't soak up water and won't fade or crack under harsh sunlight.

3. Big Tables with Invisible Seams

Need a 3-meter or 4-meter dining table or long entryway counter? We join the sections using matching color glue. Once lightly hand-sanded, the joint disappears and looks like one endless piece of stone.

Everyday Life Benefit: No more mismatched colors. Your window sills, dining table, and kitchen counters are cut from the same matching batch of material.

Which Material Should You Choose?

We fabricate using three core materials. Each has its own strengths depending on whether you need seamless curves, heavy-duty scratch resistance, or the best project budget:

Features Pure Acrylic Solid Surface Composite Acrylic Solid Surface Engineered Quartz Stone
Seamless Jointing 100% invisible seams; blends like a single piece Very clean seams; virtually invisible on flat runs Fine, tight seam lines (visible under close inspection)
Bending & Curves Best for heat bending; curves into tight waves without whitening Supports gentle arcs and standard radius curves Rigid stone slab; flat cuts, straight miters, and beveled edges only
Scratch Resistance Moderate hardness; micro-scratches easily buff out with a scouring pad Moderate hardness; easily renewed by simple hand sanding Extremely high (Mohs 6-7); highly resistant to knife cuts and scraping
Heat Resistance Up to ~100°C (hot pans require trivets/pads) Up to ~80°C-90°C (hot pans require trivets/pads) High heat resistance; safely withstands hot cooking pots and direct heat
Stain & Water Proof 100% non-porous; zero absorption of wine, sauce, or makeup Non-porous; everyday kitchen and bathroom spills wipe clean easily Dense, non-porous aggregate; completely resistant to oil and sauce stains
Repairability 100% full-body renewable; deep scratches sand away without trace 100% full-body renewable; easily polished back to a fresh matte look Hard surface rarely scratches; accidental deep edge chips require resin filling
Anti-Yellowing Top grade; stays pure white even under sunny windows Good for indoor ambient lighting; avoid harsh outdoor sun Excellent indoor UV stability; maintains stone luster over decades

How We Get It Made for You

You don't need to be a stone expert. We make the ordering and checking process straightforward so there are no surprises when the crates arrive:

1. Send Us Drawings or Sketches

Send your cabinet layout, floor plan, or even a rough hand sketch with sizes. We check your stove and sink models to make sure every cutout is in the right spot.

2. Factory Test Fit & Photos

Before we pack anything, we dry-assemble your island waterfall legs and bathroom sinks right on our factory floor. We check all seams, take photos, and send them for your approval.

3. Packed Clearly by Room

Every piece is clearly labeled (e.g., "Kitchen Island Top", "Master Bath Sink") and packed in padded wooden crates, making it easy to carry into the right room on the jobsite.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you make all our countertops and tables match the same color?

Yes. We cut your kitchen island, bathroom vanity tops, and window sills from the exact same batch of stone. This avoids the obvious color differences you get when buying from different shops.

How do we join large island pieces on the jobsite?

If an island is too long to fit into an elevator or door, we make it in two clean parts. We send you matching stone glue and simple clamps. Once glued and lightly hand-sanded on site, the seam completely disappears.

Will cooking heat from the stove damage the stone?

No. We cut the stove openings with smooth curved corners to prevent stress cracks, and line the inner edge with heat-shield tape. For heavy wok cooking, high-density quartz is also available.

What do I need to send you to get a price?

Just send us your cabinet drawings, room plans, or even a hand sketch showing overall length, width, and where you want your sinks and stoves. We usually send back a price estimate within 24 hours.
